No sweet drink for 30 days

Lately i notice that i gain weight drastically. I suspected that it was contributed by  my daily uncontrolled consumption of sweet drink and also my increase in appetite. Apparenty, eating can be enjoying. To make things worst, it does have impact on my stamina. Maybe im getting older but it does make me feel better blaming it on my weight...something that i can control.

So i start a new 30 days challenges of no sweet drink to proof my theory. The challenge start on 27/4 till 26/7. Target reduction 3kg.

Start weight : 55.4 kg (30/4)

Week 1 (27/5-3/5)
Almost accidently ordered sweet drink. However, as i was on dive trip, ive developed habit of not taking sweet drink during dive and drinking a lot of water to avoid hydration. But honestly the sweet drink can be very tempted. I did take a spoon or two just to get a taste of it.

Week 2 (4/5-10/5)
Workdays is not too bad, just need to avoid my habit to drinking sweet drink for breakfast. I replaced with chocolate. Is it considered cheating? But it works as it lessen the craving. Weekend was quite challenging as i really want teh tarik for breakfast. Manage to fight it and settle down with plain water.

Week 3 (11/5-17/5)
While having lunch with my colleague i was quite surprise that i dont really feel like the sweet drink ordering by my friend tasted any better than my plain water. Yay..ive managed to get over the addiction part...maybe.

Week 4 (18/5-24/5)
In general, im in a good track but not strictly. I did take a sip or two to please the host or to taste only. Honestly, this is very doable.

Week 5 (25/5-26/5)
The final week of my 30 days challenge... im pretty sure i can make it a habit :)...unfortunely i dont really lost weight. It looks like it take more than no sweet drink to lose weight.
