I got this recipe from youtube but i alter some of the ingredient to fit my diet.
Ingredients:
*Bolognese Sauce
250g of minced chicken
4 tbsp of olive oil
1 onion - finely chopped
2 carrot - finely diced
3 garlic - minced
2 celery stalks - finely diced
400g tomato - crush
200g tomato puree
1 tbsp oregano
salt
pepper
*Spaghetti
500g spaghetti
Salt
1 tbsp olive oil
water
*Garnish
25g of grated parmesan cheese
2 tbsp parsley
Method:
*Bolognese sauce
1) Place pan on high heat and add olive oil
2) Add mince chicken and stir well.
3) When the chicken is cooked, add onion,carrot,celery and garlic. Stir well and let it cooked for a few minutes.
4) Add tomato puree and mix it well. you may add a little bit of water if it is too dry.
5) Add crushed tomato and stir well.
6) Season with oregano, salt and pepper.
*Cook the pasta
1) Season boiling water with salt
2) Add spaghetti and olive oil and let it boil for 7-10 minutes.
3) Drain the pasta. Wash the pasta and mix with a little bit of olive oil.
*Finishing touch
1) Heap a generous portion of spaghetti in a bowl
2) Heap sauce on the top
3) Garnish with chopped parsley and parmasan cheese.

2011 - 33 : Cream of Mushroom
i always love cream of mushroom soup. Usually i bought the one in the can but surprisingly it is quite simple to prepare.
Ingredients:
60g of butter
1 small onion - diced
4 stalk of celery - diced
1 leek - chopped
200g of mushroom - diced
3 tbsp of flour
340 ml of milk
400 ml of chicken stock
Black pepper
Salt
Method:
1) Melt butter in a pan on low heat
2) Add the vegetable (onion,celery,leek,mushroom) and sweat in the butter for 5 minutes.
3) Add the flour and mix well
4) Pour milk with chicken stock and stir well.
5) Season it with salt and pepper. Cook for 25 minutes
6) Liquidized it by blending untill smooth.

2011 - 32 : Egg Drop Soup
When i was in college, one of my most favourite recipe was the egg drop soup because it is easy and fast to prepare, taste good and the most important one is that i'm familiar with the ingredients. Below is the recipe;
Ingredients:
*Soup base
4 cups of chicken broth ( about 1 liter)- or 1 chicken cube + 1 liter of water.
1/4 tbsp of white pepper
Salt to taste.
1/4 tbsp of minced garlic
1/4 tbsp of minced ginger
*Soup Garnish
2 small green onion stalk - chopped
fried sliced shallot
*Thickner
1 tbsp of corn flour
a little bit of water (to dissolve the corn flour)
*The egg
1 large egg (or 2 small eggs) - lightly beaten.
*Optional
2 potato (diced)
3/4 cup of straw, enoki, or sliced shitaki mushrooms
Methods
1) Place *soup base* ingredients in a pot and bring to boil. Add *thickner*.
2) Add the *optional* ingredients and wait till it is properly cooked.
3) Very slowly pour in *the eggs* in a steady stream. To make shreds, stir the egg rapidly in a clockwise direction for one minute.
4)Put it in the bowl and top it with the *garnish*.
5) Enjoy the soup.

2011 - 27 : Ikin's Oreo Cheese Cake
During Ramadhan 2010, Mazidah was hosting an iftar at her new house. it was more like potluck with the main menu sponsored by Mazidah. ikin brought her homemade orea cheese cake. it was sooo good. Unfortunately i wasnt able to eat more than a piece since i was soo full at that time. Fortunately ikin was willing to share her secret recipe with the rest of us;
Base
Ingredient
Ore0 cookies (2 packets) + Butter = (2:1)
How to do the base?

How to do the base?
- Separate the cream from the cookies
- Crush the cookies
- Melt the butter
- Add oreo + cream
- put in oven proof container (mampat)
Top
500g cream cheese
200g castor sugar
4 grade A eggs
400g/370g yogurt
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2-3 tablespoon flour
How to do it?
- Mix everything in the blender
- Put in the container (the once with base)
- based @ 150 C for 30 min
- Cool @ room temperature and refrigerate.
ive never be able to try it out yet but hopefully one sweet day i'll hv courage to do so.
