I didnt stay up late to 12.00 am for the New Year celebration and firework. I planned to wake up early on 1.1.2013 to work. I went to sleep around 11.00 pm, My beauty sleep was very important to me.
On 1.1.2013, i woke up early to work as planned. The road was clear without the usual morning rush. I drove at 60km/hr on 3 lanes clear highway while singing along to my favorite songs blaring on the radio. Stopped at the traffic light on the empty intersection and wondering whether i should run over the red light. As a law abiding citizen, i stopped and waited for the green light while texting ( texting part was not very law abiding but i was literally stopped so logically it wont harm anyone).

Arriving at the half-empty parking lot since the non-production related departments were on leave. Clocked-in at 7.53 am to half empty office (some departments in our division were also on leave, and many people in our department took annual leave as well).
Nothing much can be done as many related people on leave. So i did some pending no-brainer paper work and some 5S/spring cleaning on my desk (shredding papers, throwing out unnecessary things).
Since the in-house cafe closed, i went for lunch outside at Sukiya, Taipan area with Lina,Ita, Faizal, Khairul, Zull, Zule and Tapa. It's Japanese restaurant. The food was okey yet i'm not a big fan of Japanese food. We bought goreng pisang on the way back to office.
Leave work at 5.30pm and arrived around 6.00pm. After maghrib, i had my dinner and did coloring book with Chacha, while talking to my sister about our day. Not watching tv at all since the Astro service went out completely (it must be the decoder, but the customer service rep kept asking us to reboot the decoder since last sunday, what a douche). They said that they only will send the technician in 3 days time (double douche).
Calling my mom around 9.00pm, talking about our days and family stuffs. Chacha sang her nasyid song to my mom (we still cant really understand most of the words she sang). It was very funny since my mom cant really understand the song as well but she patiently listening to Chacha's song for almost 3 minutes (yeah..it was that long as Chacha excitedly repeated the song over and over again) My mom just said it's a lovely song and she almost fall asleep.
It's about 10.00pm and i went to sleep. It was a very relaxing New Year. Looking forward for exciting days ahead.
