Yeah...after two failed attempt to run a marathon, i managed to run a marathon last night (it's a night marathon) . I'm very proud of myself *pat on my own back*....

I almost not be able to go due to business trip which was unfortunately (or fortunately) cancelled at the very last minutes.

I went to Putrajaya BSN Night Marathon with Atim. Our event (5km Fun Run) started at 9.00 pm. I was really nervous as it was my very first time and also i didnt do any training (except for daily almost 1km walk to COE for the last 2 weeks).
Atim and i run at the same pace. the first 1km we made it in around 8 minutes which was not bad as i managed to run all the way.
As we run for almost 2++ km, Atim received a phone call from her sister telling her that her grandma had just passed-away. We decided to quit the marathon and got home immediately. We walked all the way and had small talk.
Realizing that our parking spot was very near to the finish line, suddenly we decided to finish the race, get the certificate (goodies) before going back.
Made it to the finished line in under/almost 1 hour), i saw my brother at the finished line. He participated in 10km run (Which he made it in about 1 hour).

It was a great first marathon experience for me (except for the unfortunate news of Atim's grandma passing away). I used to hate marathon when i was in school (together with all sport related thingy) but surprisingly now i found marathon is quite enjoyable.
I might run a marathon again =)
